The most effective way to operate an SCR system is via a comprehensive catalyst management program. Catalyst management is often viewed as developing a plan for a given SCR system to maintain sufficient catalyst activity necessary to achieve the required NO_x reduction with an acceptable margin to avoid inadvertent NO_x or ammonia slip excursions beyond allowable limits.

All SCR management services are offered “a la carte,” ensuring a pre-stated price for each specific service portion, while allowing the flexibility to select and combine portions on an as-needed basis, tailored to the individual SCR system. This approach augments the advantages of a clearly defined scope of services delivered at a firm lump-sum price, with the ability to pick and choose only the service portions required at any specific point in time, for an individual SCR unit.
